Day Beds provide a dual function for your bedroom, living room, study or hallway. Daybeds can be used for sleeping during the night and sitting (like a conventional sofa) during the day. Ideal where space can often be limited, perfect for guest bedrooms and available with matching bedroom furniture.
There are a few different types of daybeds available. The most common ones are:
Daybed with Trundle and Mattress: These daybeds provide an extra sleeping solution. As well as the mattress to the top of the daybed, an additional mattress bed is supplied underneath the bed which rolls out to provide an extra sleeping solution for guests. Sometimes these daybeds with trundles also pop up to the same height as the top of the bed providing a useful double bed, should one be required. This type of day bed is known as a "double day bed".
Daybed with Storage: For those that require additional storage for their interior space, daybeds with drawers are also available providing additional storage underneath the daybed. This convenient solution is useful where a daybed with trundle, or a double day bed, is not necessary.
