Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

UPDATED 3rd November

Following the recent lockdown announcement by the Prime Minister, Frances Hunt will be operating as a business as normal.

We are working together with many of our manufactures, suppliers and couriers to make sure stock levels are up to date and lead times are met on time. Deliveries will still be door step only.

Due to the sanctions in place, we have decided to close our showroom to the public and will not be accepting visitors to our premises at this time.

Our customer service team are available to be contacted via email, live chat or phone for any queries you may have.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this difficult time for all of us.

UPDATED 18th May

As of 18th May, we are now resuming deliveries from our warehouse. To ensure that our warehouse and delivery teams can practice social distancing, this will be on a limited basis which does unfortunately mean that deliveries may still take a bit longer than advertised. Any outstanding orders will be prioritized, especially those that were delivered into our warehouse just before lockdown began.

We have sent out many items via courier where possible but some larger items that need to be delivered on our own vans will now be taken into consideration. These deliveries will be door step only.

We are unable to offer assembly or disposal services until government guidelines say otherwise. If you have paid for these services, these will only be carried out after lockdown once safe to do so.

Customer services are still available to be contacted via email, live chat or phone for any queries you may have regarding an item you would like to order or have ordered.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused, we are assessing this uncertain situation constantly and will keep updating as it evolves. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

UPDATED 26th March

In light of the lockdown being announced, we have had to halt all deliveries and close our office. This decision was not taken lightly but we must put our drivers and customers health first. This does mean that we will not be able to deliver most items until the sanctions put in place have been lifted. We are working with those manufacturers that are still operating to send items directly to our customers where possible.

Any orders placed during the lockdown will be processed once normal service resumes. If you have any queries, our office staff are still available to contact. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this has caused but we hope you understand that as a non-essential business, this matter is out of our control.

Thank you for your patience – Frances Hunt Team

20th March

We understand that these are times of uncertainty, and we’d like to reassure you that our staff and customers safety is paramount.

We are still operating as normal and deliveries are taking place but as a precaution, we have reduced the amount of deliveries both in and out of our warehouse. Unfortunately, this does affect delivery times slightly but we are working hard to get these goods delivered to you.

Many of our office staff are now working remotely and are available for you to contact with any queries you may have.

We will keep this page updated with any changes as the situation evolves.

We thank you for shopping with us and for your understanding – Frances Hunt team
